The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were in good condition. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfast room with views of the storks. The Saturday market nearby had a great selection of delicious foods. Munster is a small and affordable town, perfect for exploring neighboring cities like Riguewihr and Ribeauville.
Felt really good, nothing to complain about.

We enjoyed exploring its quaint streets and admiring the storks nesting on the church across from our hotel. Our room was cozy and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after our day trips to Colmar. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Munster is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the tourist hotspots while enjoying the charm of a quiet town.
For dads, it would be great to have some additional family-friendly amenities or activities available at the hotel.

The rooms at Hôtel Restaurant La Cigogne were absolutely fantastic! The LCD TV with satellite channels kept us entertained, and the en suite bathroom with free toiletries made us feel pampered. The private bathroom with a bath was a luxurious touch. We loved how the rooms were connected, making it easy for families like ours. Plus, they even provided a baby cot!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the hair dryer provided in the room. But hey, that's just my preference.

A charming 18th-century building with storks' nests view. I enjoyed the hotel, the brasserie, the restaurant, and especially the bar where I had some heavenly aperitifs.
Oh, the breakfast was just a fruitless and quickly depleted experience. Quite the treat, I must say.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at Hotel Restaurant La Cigogne. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the central location was perfect for exploring the area. We were thrilled to discover a family of storks right outside the hotel, a unique and memorable sight. The staff accommodated my food intolerance by providing spelt bread for breakfast, and the nearby square offered a daily market with delicious local products. Despite the challenge of reaching our family room, the staff went above and beyond to assist us. They even offered to store my road bike in the garage, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel provided a great base for exploring the surrounding attractions, such as Colmar, the Route des Vins, and the Route des Crêtes. we highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.
We would recommend this hotel.

Spent my Christmas at an old, charming hotel in a very historic square. The staff was very friendly and open to proposals which made my stay comfortable and welcoming. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean with amazing views in all angles. Plus, the storks in front of the hotel were amazing to watch.
Despite the favorable location, the breakfast offer was quite short for the price. And though the facility was somehow old, it didn’t affect my stay.

The location of this hotel is great: it is in the center of a charming little town, close to shops, restaurants, and bars. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, even offering to store my road-bike in their garage. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with comfortable beds and nice amenities. The breakfast selection was excellent, with a wide variety of options including local cheeses and cold cuts.
The WiFi reception in the rooms could be improved.

The hotel’s location is definitely a plus, being right in the center of town and opposite the lively Christmas market. It also provides easy access to the motorway and proximity to a supermarket and petrol station. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms.
One aspect that left a lot to be desired was the reception service which only opened at 8am, making early checkouts difficult.

I had a great stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, right next to the market square where I watched storks soaring on the high chimneys. Additionally, the hotel staff was very helpful, offering to carry my bags all the way up to my room, as it had multiple stairs. Another great feature was the tasty breakfast buffet, featuring local cheeses and cold cuts, and homemade jams. Lastly, despite not being extensive, the restaurant's menu offers delicious food and good local wine to go with it.
There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at a small scale hotel in Munster and had a fantastic experience. The staff at the hotel, including Restaurant La Cigogne, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Munster, with easy access to the magnificent Parc National Ballons d'Alsace. The rooms were huge and very comfortable, and they even had a secure garage for parking motorbikes. I also loved the fact that the hotel is located near a beautiful little street where I found a great pizza restaurant called La Dolce Vita. Plus, if you're interested in seeing storks, the hotel is opposite the church where many of them nest. It's quite an experience to see these huge birds on the rooftops!
Not obvious to find. 😕

The breakfast was very tasty and well-presented, with a good variety of options. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. The hotel's location was perfect for us, with plenty of shops and cafes within easy walking distance.
The curtains in our room didn't close properly, which made it difficult to sleep with the light coming in from outside. the town itself was fairly quiet at night, which meant that there wasn't a lot of nightlife to enjoy during our stay.
